"Chain on Love" (A Song for Marriage Equality)

Several years ago, California voters passed Prop 8, which effectively banned gay marriage in the State.  Ian, in response,  wrote a song "Chain on Love,"  protesting what he believed Prop 8 to be -- a severely unjust law that directly discriminated against the LGBT community and, by doing so, infringed on the rights of all Americans.

Today, North Carolina voters face a similar choice in Amendment One.  We fervently support marriage equality and, more generally, the equal rights of the entire LGBT community.  We hope the great people of North Carolina join us today in voting against Amendment One.  Let's be on the right side of history and set a standard our children and grandchildren, looking back, can be proud.

    Watch it now.
